About the Let’s Go Explore Caravan & RV Expo
The Let’s Go Explore Caravan & RV Expo is Caravanning Queensland’s spring show at the Brisbane Showgrounds, running over four days from late October into November. It was previously the Let’s Go Brisbane Caravan & Outdoor Sale. The new name adds off-road, 4WD and touring gear alongside the caravan and motorhome displays.
It is the second of Caravanning Queensland’s two Brisbane shows each year, after the Supershow in June.
The Showgrounds are in Bowen Hills, a couple of kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, and an online ticket includes free train travel from anywhere on the Queensland Rail Citytrain network.
What to See at the Let’s Go Explore Caravan & RV Expo 2026
Expect the newest caravans, motorhomes, campervans, camper and tent trailers and slide-ons, plus the accessory and gear suppliers that go with them, across the pavilions and outdoor areas of the Showgrounds.
The team from Talking Towing run daily VANSafe Masterclasses, covering tow vehicle and caravan weights (GVM, GCM, towball mass, tare and ATM), safe loading and driver tips, with small-group Q&A sessions where you can put your own setup to a presenter.
There is free entertainment across the site including live music, face painting and Mick the Camp Oven Cook, and visitors go into a daily draw to win $5,000 off an RV purchased at the show.

Getting There
By train: Buy your ticket online and train travel to the show is free from any station on the Queensland Rail Citytrain network, north to Gympie, west to Rosewood and south to Varsity Lakes. Travel to Central, Roma Street or Fortitude Valley and catch the loop train to Exhibition station, in the middle of the Showgrounds. Free travel does not apply to the Airtrain, buses, ferries or Gold Coast trams, and each child needs their own ticket.
By car: Parking is limited. Gregory Terrace is closed to traffic during the show, and the organisers ask visitors to use the free train. If you do drive, the Victoria Park, King Street and Pavilion carparks fill quickly.
Tips for Show Day
- Buy online and catch the train. Have your eTicket ready on your phone, as Queensland Rail staff may ask to see it before you board.
- Thursday and Friday are quieter than the weekend. The show opens at 9am each day and closes at 5pm Thursday to Saturday and 4pm Sunday.
- Check the VANSafe session times when you arrive and plan around one. Bring your tow vehicle’s compliance plate figures if you want a useful answer in the Q&A.
- If you arrive before the loop train starts, get off at Fortitude Valley and walk about 800 metres to the Alexandria Street entrance.
Where to Stay
If you are travelling with your caravan, there are several parks near the Brisbane Showgrounds with powered sites.
- Aspley Acres Caravan Park – approximately 13km north on Gympie Road. Long-established park with powered sites on concrete slabs and easy access to the inner-city bypass.
- Brisbane Holiday Village – approximately 18km south in Eight Mile Plains. Family-owned park with powered caravan sites and pool facilities.
Book early for show weekends as popular parks fill up quickly.
