How the TS1 garage works

The garage sits behind a triple-sealed living-space door, so the cabin stays sealed off from the cargo bay. Dust stays out of the bedroom and mud stays out of the kitchen.

What you get in the rear of the TS1:

  • A full-height ramp engineered by Wolf Fabrication, our in-house aluminium fabrication arm
  • Heavy-duty struts so the ramp loads with one person rather than two
  • An external garage door that lifts overhead to keep the rain off while you’re loading
  • A cargo track system with tie-down eyelets for securing bikes, gear and anything else along for the ride
  • Four individual Wolf Fabrication fold-up bunks that convert the same space from cargo bay to four extra beds in around five minutes

The TS1 sleeps four when the bikes are in, and six when the bikes are out.

Off-road capable and off-grid ready

The TS1 isn’t a town van that happens to have a garage. It’s a touring rig fitted for unsealed and corrugated roads, and it carries enough power and water to keep going when there’s nothing to plug into.

Chassis and suspension as standard:

  • Low-truss powder coated chassis
  • Cruisemaster XT Airbag BCS self-levelling suspension
  • Sixteen-inch Method Race Wheels with Hub-Centric mounting
  • Maxxis RAZR tyres sized for the chassis

Power and water as standard:

  • 400Ah Enerdrive B-Tech lithium batteries
  • 800W of solar on the roof
  • 2,600W Enerdrive inverter for off-grid AC running
  • 245-litre fresh water capacity

The TS1 sits firmly in our off-grid caravan lineup as well as our off-road caravan range. The same chassis platform underpins most of the Titanium range.

Who buys a toy hauler caravan

The TS1 is for buyers who don’t want to leave the gear behind:

  • Adventure-bike couples who’ve been towing a separate bike trailer behind a separate van and decided once was enough
  • Families with older kids who ride, where the bunks turn back into bedding once the bikes come out
  • Tradespeople heading into remote work sites who need a tow rig and a workshop in one
  • Kayak, surf and fishing couples loading boards, rods and a generator without losing kitchen space

For families with younger kids and bunks as a primary need, see our family caravans range. For couples touring without bunks, our couples caravans range covers the layouts.

Off-road capability refers to suitability for unsealed and corrugated roads. Use in extreme or technical 4WD conditions may fall outside the intended design and void the warranty. See warranty document for details.

Rugged Build & Looks

Purpose-built for Australian conditions, and turns heads at every campsite.

One-Piece Fibreglass Composite Panel Roof

The one-piece fibreglass composite roof typically insulates better than a framed roof, because the insulation covers the full panel rather than leaving the gaps you get around frame members.

Frequently asked questions

What is a toy hauler caravan?

A toy hauler caravan is two things in one trailer: a full-spec touring van up front, and a dedicated garage at the rear. The garage isn't a tacked-on locker. It's the rear third of the van, reinforced for the weight and clearance of motorbikes, dirt bikes, e-bikes, kayaks or whatever else won't fit in the tow vehicle. The ramp folds up flush against the rear wall when the van is in transit, so the load profile stays clean and the seal stays intact. You sleep, cook and shower up front. You load and ride from the back.

Why are toy haulers so rare in Australia?

In the United States the layout is common, but until the TS1 nothing equivalent was being built on an Australian premium chassis. There were slide-on campers and converted ute trays, but nothing that gave you a real caravan-grade interior with a real garage at the rear. Most Australian buyers who wanted to take bikes ended up towing a separate trailer behind a separate van. The TS1 was built specifically to close that gap.

What's the difference between a toy hauler and a regular caravan?

A toy hauler has a dedicated rear garage with a full-height ramp, sized to carry motorbikes, e-bikes or other gear. The front section remains a full caravan with a kitchen, living area, bathroom and bedroom. A regular caravan has neither the garage space nor the rear ramp door. Toy haulers also typically run a heavier-duty chassis and suspension to handle the additional rear weight when loaded.

Can the TS1 sleep more than six people?

The TS1 sleeps six adults as configured: a king-size bed at the front and four fold-up Wolf Fabrication bunks in the rear garage when the cargo's out. The bunks convert from sleeping mode to cargo mode in around five minutes. If you need permanent sleeping for more than six, our family caravans range covers triple-bunk and other family-specific layouts.

Is the TS1 off-road capable?

Yes. It runs Cruisemaster XT Airbag BCS self-levelling suspension on a low-truss powder coated chassis, sixteen-inch Method Race Wheels, and Maxxis RAZR tyres as standard. It's fitted for unsealed and corrugated roads. Off-road capability refers to suitability for unsealed and corrugated roads. Use in extreme or technical 4WD conditions may fall outside the intended design and void the warranty.

What can I fit in the garage?

The garage is sized for the load profile of two dirt bikes, two adventure motorcycles, or equivalent. A cargo track system with tie-down eyelets secures gear during travel. Common loads include motorbikes, e-bikes, kayaks, surfboards, tools, fishing gear, generators, and bulk fuel containers.

How is the TS1 different from a slide-on camper or a converted ute tray?

A slide-on lives in a tray and comes off at the campsite. A ute tray conversion is a permanent build on the back of a vehicle. The TS1 is neither: it's a full caravan registered as a trailer, towed behind your vehicle, with the garage and living quarters in one unit. You don't lose the use of your tow vehicle and you get a proper caravan-grade interior.

What can I tow the TS1 with?

The TS1 is built around a tow vehicle in the 200-Series LandCruiser, Ram, Silverado or equivalent class. Towing capacity, gross combination mass and brake controller setup all need to match the loaded weight of the van plus the cargo in the rear garage. Speak to a Titanium expert before committing if you're not sure your tow vehicle is rated for it. We can run the numbers with you.

What's the warranty on a Titanium toy hauler caravan?

The TS1 ships with the same warranty as every Titanium build: a 5-year structural warranty plus a 2-year manufacturer warranty. Routine servicing and authorised warranty work are available through our two Titanium Service Centres and approved service centres Australia wide. Contact our Warranty and Service team and we will connect you with the right provider in your area. Full warranty cover, inclusions, exclusions and conditions are set out in the Titanium Caravans Warranty Booklet, available on request. This warranty is provided in addition to the rights and remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law and does not exclude, restrict or modify them.
