About the Perth 4WD and Adventure Show

The Perth 4WD and Adventure Show is one of the longest-running 4WD and adventure events in Australia. Held each year at McCallum Park on the banks of the Swan River in Victoria Park, it spans over 125,000 square metres of exhibitors, demonstrations and hands-on experiences.

Run by Premiere Events as part of their national show series, it has become the go-to event for West Australians planning their next touring adventure. The outdoor riverside setting gives it a different feel from indoor expos. It is spacious, open and well suited to displaying large vehicles and full camp setups.

With WA’s proximity to some of the country’s most iconic touring destinations, from the Kimberley and Coral Coast to the goldfields and the south-west, visitors tend to come with serious intent. This is where people research, compare and make decisions before heading out on extended trips.

What to See at the Perth 4WD and Adventure Show 2026

The show covers everything you would expect for off-road touring, plus a few things you might not. The Toyo Tires Adventure Zone brings together the latest in 4WD and overlanding setups, while the 4WD Traction Track lets you experience off-road driving firsthand without leaving the showgrounds.

The Bush Mechanics Zone is a practical highlight, offering hands-on sessions for those who want to learn roadside repair and recovery skills. The Isuzu Iron Summit is back with its 45-degree hydraulic ramp climb, a crowd favourite that gives you a real sense of what modern 4WDs can handle.

The Engel Bush Camp Stage hosts presentations from well-known touring creators, including Graham Cahill, covering everything from remote travel tips to camp setup advice. Elsewhere, you will find camp cooking demonstrations, the “Show Your Dirt” vehicle display competition, a dedicated Fishing Zone and wildlife exhibits. It is a full weekend if you let it be.

Getting There

McCallum Park sits on the Swan River in Victoria Park, a short distance from the Perth CBD. The venue is well connected by road and public transport.

By car: Free parking is available at Sir James Mitchell Park. Enter via Ellam Street or Mill Point Road. Disabled parking is located on Ellam Street. The carpark fills up, so arriving earlier in the day is a good idea, especially on Saturday.

Free shuttles: A free shuttle runs from Belmont Park every 10 minutes. There is also a free shuttle from Burswood Train Station to the show entrance.

By bus: Bus services run along Canning Highway with stops within walking distance of the venue.

By foot or bike: The Boorloo Bridge Causeway connects to the park via walking and cycling paths along the river.

Tips for Show Day

  • Use the free shuttles. Parking is free but limited. The Burswood Train Station shuttle runs every 10 minutes and takes the stress out of arrival.
  • Bring sun protection. The show is mostly outdoors on open ground beside the river. A hat, sunscreen and water are worth having, even in November.
  • Check the stage timetable on arrival so you can plan your route around any talks or demonstrations you want to catch.
  • Allow a full day. With 125,000 square metres to cover, it is easy to spend four or five hours without seeing everything.

Where to Stay

If you are travelling with your caravan, there are several parks near McCallum Park with powered sites.

  • Karrinyup Waters Resort – ~10km north. One of Perth’s largest holiday parks with over 180 powered sites and a large pool and spa complex.
  • Perth Central Caravan Park – ~18km east in Ascot. Situated on the banks of the Swan River with over 40 large powered campsites.

Book early for show weekends as popular parks fill up quickly.
